With this model Volvo further emphasises it's aim to make the highest level of audio entertainment available for every Volvo model. The C30's unique exterior styling and the sporty balance of the chassis is a perfect match for the Dynaudio Premium Sound System: With 10 Dynaudio loudspeakers, advanced digital amplifier technology, Dolby Pro Logic surround sound and 650 watts of power, a thrilling driving experience is guaranteed. As in the Volvo C70, S80 and XC90 models, the sound system has been developed together with Volvo engineers and interior stylists to ensure ideal positioning of the loudspeakers and perfect integration into the interior. For individual sound taste, the sound performance can be adjusted even further: In Dolby Pro Logic mode, the rear speakers and the center speaker serve as surround effect loudspeakers to form a virtual room space. In this setting, the level of the center speaker effect can be adjusted. In stereo mode the sound by passes the Pro Logic processor to provide pure stereo music enjoyment from the 8 side speakers. Additionally a 5-band-equalizer and an adaptive noise level facility allow best sound performance with music and also undistorted reproduction of voices. Volvo C30 - the first concert hall in the compact class.
