AIR: blocked in boot mode
How to restart in application mode?
Occasionally, an AIR speaker may become stuck in boot mode. While this mode is essential for updating firmware, it prevents the speaker from functioning normally.
To initiate a restart of the AIR unit in application mode, follow these steps:
1) Begin by powering off the unit.
2) While powering the unit back on, press and hold both arrow buttons on the Master speaker. For Slave speakers, press and hold the corresponding buttons.
This action will ensure that the unit boots up in application mode.
3) Once powered on, Master speakers will display the application version, and while operating, they will indicate the current volume and clock settings.
Slave speakers will have their digital Lock LED illuminated, confirming they are functioning correctly.
