My Focus XD speaker does not respond to my remote control.

• Please make sure you are using the correct battery type (2 pieces 1,5V batteries AAA)
• Please make sure the batteries have been inserted into the remote control correctly (see here for instructions)
• Please make the battery door screws have been tightened.
