Troubleshooting Xeo 2 /Xeo 10/ Xeo 20/ Xeo 30
Bad communication between Xeo master and Xeo slave.
Note: The following information relates exclusively to Xeo 2 / Xeo 10 / Xeo 20 / Xeo 30 without Hub or Connect.
There are a number of steps that can help Xeo achieve optimal performance.
1. Perform a reset on Xeo. Learn more here.
2. Ensure that other WiFi-enabled devices are placed at least 50 cm from Xeo speakers. To check that the Xeo speakers are working properly, switch off all WiFi-enabled devices.
3. Change the zone setting of both speakers (Red / Green / Blue switch) on the back of the speaker.
4. Install the latest firmware (on both speakers) downloaded from
5. Check that both speakers are assigned to their own position (Right / Left) via the rear switch.
6. Make sure your digital source outputs a PCM stereo signal. (CD format WAV, AIFF 16/24 bit 44.1 Khz or higher)
7. Check that your source is set correctly and, if necessary, whether it works correctly in another setup.
8. Optimize the settings of your WiFi router, e.g. by changing the WiFi channels. Consult the manufacturer or the operating instructions for your router. You can also try to force the router to transmit on the 2.4 Ghz band only
More tips
Tip 1: Walls and especially hidden cables in the walls impede wireless signal transmissions. Try to avoid too many walls.
Tip 2: Every wireless transmitter and receiver depends on good transmission and reception conditions. The frequency load and any interference signals (e.g. from other WLAN and Bluetooth-enabled devices) are invisible without technical aids.
Tip 3: Even unsuspecting devices such as LED lights, fluorescent tubes, televisions, microwave ovens, surveillance cameras or motion detectors can impair the Xeo function. Try turning off other devices or relocating them.
