First make sure that your speaker is in Wi-Fi setup mode. Wi-Fi setup mode is indicated by preset 1 & 2 flashing on Music 1 & 3 and button 1 flashing on Music 5 & 7. See here how to enter Wi-Fi setup mode.
iOS
- Enter setup mode on your Dynaudio Music speaker by pressing and holding preset button 1 (Wi-Fi) on Music 5 and 7 or press and hold the setup button on Music 1 and 3.
- Open “Settings -> Wi-Fi” on your iOS device and find the Dynaudio Music speaker near the bottom of the screen ready for setup. Select the Dynaudio Music speaker.
- After selecting the speaker, you can assign an Airplay password for your speaker. Not mandatory.
- Select “Next” in upper right corner and speaker connect to Wi-Fi
Android
- Enter setup mode on your Dynaudio Music speaker by pressing and holding preset button 1 (Wi-Fi) on Music 5 and 7 or press and hold the setup button on Music 1 and 3.
- Open “Settings -> Wi-Fi” on your Android device and find the Dynaudio Wi-Fi on the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the Dynaudio Wi-Fi and wait for it to successfully connect.
- Some Android devices take longer to connect to a Wi-Fi that’s unsecured and/or lacks an actual internet connection. In some cases, it’s necessary to active flight mode and Wi-Fi to prevent the device to use cellular data due to the lack of an actual internet connection.
- Open a browser on the device and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address field. The address field is where you normally enter a web page.
- Now you should see the web interface of the speaker. Press the “Menu” icon in the upper right corner and select “Setup” in the drop-down menu.
- On the Setup page, you can rename your speaker, select a Wi-Fi, enter the password and select “Apply Settings” near the bottom of the screen to connect.
Windows PC
- Enter setup mode on your Dynaudio Music speaker by pressing and holding preset button 1 (Wi-Fi) on Music 5 and 7 or press and hold the setup button on Music 1 and 3.
- Open the Wi-Fi menu by selecting the Wi-Fi symbol on the taskbar in the lower right corner.
- Select the Dynaudio Wi-Fi and wait for it to successfully connect.
- Open a browser on the PC and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address field. The address field is where you normally enter a web page.
- Now you should see the web interface of the speaker. Select “Setup” in the top menu line.
- On the Setup page, you can rename your speaker, select a Wi-Fi, enter the password and select “Apply Settings” near the bottom of the screen to connect.
Mac
- Enter setup mode on your Dynaudio Music speaker by pressing and holding preset button 1 (Wi-Fi) on Music 5 and 7 or press and hold the setup button on Music 1 and 3.
- On your Mac, select the Wi-Fi icon on the top menu bar.
- On the Wi-Fi drop-down menu, the speaker will show up under “New AirPlay Speaker”. Select the speaker.
- AirPort Utility will open where you can rename your speaker and assign an optional AirPlay password.
- Select “Next" to connect.
Other
- Enter setup mode on your Dynaudio Music speaker by pressing and holding preset button 1 (Wi-Fi) on Music 5 and 7 or press and hold the setup button on Music 1 and 3.
- Open “Settings -> Wi-Fi” on your device and find the Dynaudio Wi-Fi on the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
