We’re in Anaheim, California for the annual NAMM show. However, this year we’re hosted by Yorkville, who is our American distributor. But, that’s where the difference compared to last year ends.
It’s been an incredible first day, where we have met so many vibrant, happy musicians and other like-minded that together have helped create a fantastic atmosphere here at the Anaheim Convention Center.
In 2016, we had our own dedicated Dynaudio booth at NAMM. We talked to Sebastian Rodens, Product Manager for PRO, who manned the booth.
In the days before NAMM, we started to reveal plans for a new studio monitor. Now, it is as official as it gets. The LYD 48 is reality. So, we wanted to catch up with Sebastian Rodens, Product Manager for PRO, for a couple of quick questions about the newcomer.
Hi, Sebastian. Talk to me about the new LYD 48.
“In the past, we have had success with 3-way speakers in both the AIR and M-series. Now, we can offer a 3-way design in very reasonable price range with a compact footprint. From the get go, we have wanted to make a flagship model for the LYD series, but we wanted to incorporate important customer feedback into the development process of it – that’s why we’re first releasing it now.
