Symphony Remote

Remote is the dedicated wireless remote control for Dynaudio’s high-end Symphony home cinema system, bringing an intuitive and refined interaction experience to Opus One.

Its unibody CNC-machined aluminum construction is paired with a high-resolution display. A minimalist button layout and centrally positioned control wheel create a natural, seamless operating experience. Every press and every turn delivers clear and precise tactile feedback.

An integrated high-precision calibration microphone enables room acoustic calibration and optimization when used with Opus One, allowing the system to adapt more effectively to different listening environments. The display provides real-time information on speaker status, playback details, and frequently used settings, keeping essential functions always within easy reach.

SOUND button
  • Sound‑effect switch Press to display the sound‑effect selection on screen.

POWER button
  • Wake or Sleep Press to wake or put the speaker to sleep.
  • Force restart Remote Press and hold for 15 seconds to force‑restart the Remote.

Scroll Wheel
  • Volume Adjustment The default function of the scroll wheel is volume adjustment, used to control the volume of Opus One.
  • Menu Navigation By pressing the "VOLUME" key, the scroll wheel exits volume adjustment mode and enters navigation mode. In this mode, the scroll wheel can control the direction of the Opus One interface (displayed on the TV screen). Press the "VOLUME" key again to return the scroll wheel to volume adjustment mode.Please note: If you enter the remote control screen operation — such as pressing "SOUND" to switch sound effects or entering the remote control settings page — the scroll wheel will automatically enter navigation mode. In this case, if you want to adjust the volume, you need to press the "VOLUME" key, and after making the adjustment, press the "VOLUME" key again.

Center button
  • Confirm or Enter Press to confirm a selection or enter a sub‑menu.

VOLUME button
  • Scroll wheel function switch Press to toggle the scroll wheel function between menu navigation and volume‑adjustment mode. Volume mode automatically exits after 5 seconds of inactivity.

MUTE button
  • Mute Press to mute or unmute Opus One.

BACK button
  • Back or Exit Press to go back or exit the current menu. Long press: directly jump to the home screen on Remote screen for device pairing and settings.

  • Jump to the Opus One interface Press to jump directly to the Opus One interface on TV screen.

First-Time Setup

Power on

Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds. The startup animation appears, and the Remote enters working state.

Pair with speaker

Ensure the Opus One to be paired is powered on.  
On the Remote home screen, select “Connect” – the Remote searches for nearby connectable Opus One. Keep the distance between Remote and Opus One within 10m. 
After using the scroll wheel to select the target speaker, pairing completes automatically.

Start using

After successful connection, Remote screen automatically shows the home screen of the paired speaker, displaying current playback status and volume.
On subsequent wake‑ups, the Remote will automatically reconnect to the last connected speaker.

Control and Settings

Wake and Screen‑Off
  • Wake from sleep Lift the Remote or press any key.
  • Auto screen‑off The screen will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity (the auto-lock time can be changed in Settings).
Playback Control
  • Volume adjustment Scroll the wheel to display the volume adjustment page on the screen and adjust the volume.Press the MUTE button briefly to mute or unmute instantly.Please note: When operating on the remote control screen, you must press the "VOLUME" key to switch the scroll wheel function to volume adjustment mode before adjusting the volume.
  • Sound‑effect switch Press SOUND button, the sound effect selection screen appears on Remote screen.Rotate the scroll wheel to select, then press center button to apply.
Connections
  • Switch speakers Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second to open the home screen, select “Connect” to search for and switch to another speaker.The Remote can remember up to 8 paired devices.
General Settings
  • Auto screen‑off time Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second → Settings → “Screen” → set auto screen‑off time.
  • Microphone permission Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second → Settings → “Microphone” – enable/disable..The mic is used only during room calibration.
  • Language Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second → Settings → “Language” – change display language.
  • Software update Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second → Settings → “Update” – shows version and update notifications.
  • Product information Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second → Settings → “About” – shows Remote info and certifications.
  • Factory reset Long‑press BACK button for more than 1 second → Settings → “Factory reset” – erases all settings and pairing records of the Remote.

Charging and Battery

Charging
  • Use a USB‑C cable with a 5V / ≤1.2A power adapter.
  • Charging icon appears in the top status bar.
  • The Remote automatically powers on once sufficient charge is reached.
Battery
  • Low battery (<10%): Pop‑up reminder on wake, and low‑battery icon on the home screen.
  • Extreme low battery (<1%): Brief “Battery depleted, please charge” message appears on wake.
  • Battery exhausted: Screen remains off. The Remote will powers on automatically after charging.

Battery sufficient – no icon is shown.Low battery (<10%) – a low‑battery icon appears.Charging – the icon changes to a charging indicator when charging.

Troubleshooting

Below are possible issues and solutions that may occur during daily use. If your product issue remains unresolved, please contact Dynaudio customer support or your dealer.

Insufficient battery

Charge via USB‑C.

Not connected to speaker

Follow pairing instructions.

Battery depleted

Connect USB‑C charger.
The Remote automatically powers on once sufficient charge is reached.

In “transport mode”

Connect USB‑C charger and wake.

Opus One not powered on

Check speaker power and turn it on.

Out of range

Ensure distance ≤10m, move closer and reconnect.

Remote not in BLE broadcast state

Lift or press any key to wake, Remote will enter broadcast state automatically. 

Low battery

Charge via USB‑C.

Not connected to Opus One

Re‑pair following connection instructions.

Care and Safety Notes

To extend the service life of the product, please observe the following precautions during daily use.

Daily Use
  • Clean with a dry cloth – do not use chemical solvents or liquids

  • Charge every 6 months to maintain battery health.

  • Remote is not waterproof. Avoid contact with any liquid (including splashes, drips, or high humidity).

  • Use only specified cables and adapters.

  • Contains metal and fragile components. Do not drop or strike the Remote to avoid damaging the screen or internal parts, and to prevent injury or furniture damage.

  • Contains magnets. Keep magnetic‑sensitive devices (e.g., pacemakers, magnetic cards) at least 10cm away.
