Dynaudio CEO resigns, new management appointed

After nine years of dedicated service to Dynaudio, CEO Lars Prisak has – after much consideration – decided to resign his position in pursuit of new challenges; it is the end of the road for a long and successful journey and the start of a new chapter for his professional career.

Investing in growth

During his time as Chief Executive, Lars Prisak managed to steer Dynaudio through the global financial crisis effectively, to secure a position as market leader within high-quality loudspeakers and sound systems for home, car, and professionals, and ensure a smooth transition of ownership in 2014.

Since its acquisition of Dynaudio in December 2014, Goertek has invested heavily in providing Dynaudio with the best conditions for the future. In doing so, Dynaudio has grown its Research and Development department substantially and started construction of a 17,200 square foot Research and Development Center in Skanderborg, Denmark. The new Research and Development Center is expected to open its doors this December and will cost around 30 million DKK. When opened, the center will serve as the focal point in Dynaudio’s continued work to create the future of sound reproduction and ensure Dynaudio is developing cutting-edge technologies continuously.

New management team

The Board of Dynaudio have appointed a new leadership duo as Max Jiang (Chao Jiang) and Peng Peng are named co-CEOs. Both Max Jiang and Peng Peng are moving to Denmark and will work from Dynaudio’s global headquarters in Skanderborg.

The newly appointed co-CEOs will have separate areas of responsibility: Max Jiang will be overall responsible for Operations, Product Management, and Research & Development while Peng Peng will be overall responsible for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources.

Both executives have long working experiences with Dynaudio. Max Jiang leaves an appointment as Chief Executive Officer for a joint venture established by Dynaudio and Goertek in China with responsibility for Dynaudio’s operations in the Asia Pacific. Peng Peng has, until his appointment, been Head of Investment for Goertek, a position in which he collaborated closely with Dynaudio’s top management and the Board.

Finally, Dynaudio and Goertek would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere gratitude to Lars Prisak for his exemplary contribution and wish a warm welcome to the new management team.
