AIR: Calibration software for replacement drivers

Software for recalibrating the amps to new replaced drivers.

When replacing drivers on an AIR speaker, a new calibration must be done.

Required:

  • A Windows PC
  • The AIR PC interface cable (Com to CAT5) and a USB/Serial adapter. More details HERE
  • Download AIR CALIBRATE SOFTWARE
  • The new driver(s)

 

Procedure:

  • Connect the AIR cable to the CAT 5 output of the speaker for which you are going to replace a driver. 
  • Run the AIR Calibrate Software 
  • On the new driver there is a label with a value Please see label example below

     P4 is the value to enter in the software
  • In the software, select the speaker and  driver type and check the corresponding value to the driver sticker. See example below
