AIR: Calibration software for replacement drivers
Software for recalibrating the amps to new replaced drivers.
When replacing drivers on an AIR speaker, a new calibration must be done.
Required:
- A Windows PC
- The AIR PC interface cable (Com to CAT5) and a USB/Serial adapter. More details HERE
- Download AIR CALIBRATE SOFTWARE
- The new driver(s)
Procedure:
- Connect the AIR cable to the CAT 5 output of the speaker for which you are going to replace a driver.
- Run the AIR Calibrate Software
- On the new driver there is a label with a value Please see label example below
P4 is the value to enter in the software - In the software, select the speaker and driver type and check the corresponding value to the driver sticker. See example below
