How do I connect Xeo to an iPhone / smartphone?

Xeo 2

  • Analogue – The easiest way involves a connection with the included mini-jack cable via the headphones output of the Smartphone to the Aux In input.
  • Analogue – Alternatively a docking station can be connected via the analogue stereo cinch cable to Line In.
  • Digital – Some docking stations feature an optical digital output to connect to the digital input Opt In of the Xeo 2 speaker.
  • Apple Airplay - The iPhone can also be connected wirelessly via Apple Airplay and an Apple Airport Express or Apple TV (up to 3rd generation) which can be connected via optical digital (recommended) or analog to Xeo 2.
  • Bluetooth – Xeo 2 supports (aptX and AAC) Bluetooth out of the box, please see the manual on how to set up Bluetooth with your Xeo 2 speakers.

 

Xeo 3 / Xeo 5 / Xeo 4 / Xeo 6

  • Analogue – The easiest way involves a connection with the included mini-jack cable via the headphones output of the Smartphone to the Xeo Transmitter / Xeo Hub analogue input Aux In.
  • Analogue – Alternatively a docking station can be connected via the analogue stereo cinch cable to Line In.
  • Digital – Some docking stations feature an optical digital output or a coaxial digital outpot to connect to Xeo Hub / Xeo Connect.
  • Apple Airplay - The iPhone can also be connected wirelessly via Apple Airplay and an Apple Airport Express or Apple TV (up to 3rd generation).
  • Bluetooth – A smartphone can also be integrated wirelessly with a Bluetooth audio receiver.
