How do I use Focus XD with Apple Airplay?

Due to a limitation in the Airplay protocol it is not possible to stream audio wirelessly to a pair of stereo speakers using Airplay.

In order to use Focus XD with Apple Airplay we recommend the following:

1. Install an Apple Airport Express or Apple TV (up to 3rd generation).
2. Connect your Apple Airport Express or Apple TV to your network.
3. Connect the Hub / Connect to the Airport Express or Apple TV via an optical digital cable (with TOSLink – Mini-TOSLink connections).
4. Select Input 2 on the remote control.

The computer or smartphone / tablet streams the music signal via Airplay to the Airport Express or Apple TV, and the connected Hub / Connect streams the music signal to the Focus XD speakers.
