How do I use Xeo with Apple Airplay?

Due to a limitation in the Airplay protocol it is not possible to stream audio wirelessly to a pair of stereo speakers using Airplay.

In order to use Xeo with Apple Airplay we recommend the following:

1. Install an Apple Airport Express or Apple TV (up to 3rd generation).
2. Connect your Apple Airport Express or Apple TV to your network.
3. Connect the Xeo Transmitter (Digital In) / Hub / Connect or Xeo 2 (Optical In) to the Airport Express or Apple TV via an optical digital cable (with TOSLink – Mini-TOSLink connections).
4. Select Input 2 (Xeo 2: Opt) on the remote control.

The computer or smartphone / tablet streams the music signal via Airplay to the Airport Express or Apple TV, and the connected Xeo Transmitter / Hub / Connect streams the music signal to the Xeo speakers.
